Her father passed away leaving there mother to fend on her own for the three children. Due to a change in the Law the children's mother lost her job and is having great difficulty raising the money for corrective surgery on her legs which had started to curve at the age of 18 months. Oyunjargal needs an operation to realign her legs.

Oyunjargal is one of the children who's family is sponsored by the healthy eating hamper program sponsored by the A.N.T Foundation. The healthy eating hamper is designed to offer the families with healthy eating choices which will help with their bone deficiencies, growth and over all well- being.

Bayanmunkh

At 18 months Purevsuren Bayanmunkh was admitted into hospital due to problems urinating. He was later diagnosed with a Kidney problem. His treatment consisted of cauterizing both Kidneys before operating and removing the left Kidney.
During the operation the vein of the right kidney was damaged and further operations took place to repair the remaining kidney.

Purevsuren was pain free until Oct 2003 when he started to complain of pain, doctors diagnosed him with a kidney stone on his right kidney. The kidney stone was in the kidney tissue so he had surgery again.
The operation was to remove the kidney, four days after surgery he was unable to urinate, which meant yet another operation.

Purevsuren is now experiencing severe pain in his legs, and has blood in his urine and doctors have found a second kidney stone. He is in constant pain and discomfort.
He is currently taking medication to help with pain relief, infection and vitamins for strengthening.

Purevsuren can not receive his medical treatment in Mongolia and must travel abroad to be a healthy little boy. Please contact us if you are interested in sponsoring Purevsuren.
